With more than 35 years of serving the agriculture and cattle industry as a dairy nutritionist, Dan Armstrong, owner of Sanova Enterprises of WI understands the importance of keeping forage fresh. Not only does fresh forage ensure agricultural producers’ bottom lines are not impacted by unusable forage, but it also provides the means to ensure the animals are consuming the highest quality of forage.
During the time that Armstrong worked as a nutritionist in the industry, he discovered a niche that he really liked – preservatives. He evaluated many products in the marketplace and liked how they worked and performed and learned about the competition. Eventually he worked for a preservative company before deciding to venture out on his own in 2017.
Armstrong’s vision for Sanova Enterprises of WI is to become a leading player in the marketplace by bringing exceptional preservative products to producers and help save the nutritional components within dry matter. He wanted to provide solid products to dairy producers and others in the silage industry with products that bring them a lot more value and benefits to both their production and their livestock.

Preserve One is the company’s leading product that takes a chemical approach to treating silages and creates the perfect fermentation environment. Preserve One is an oxygen scavenger that allows the natural occurring bacteria to get to the final stage of preservation quicker. We focus on harvesting the highest quality forages, and this product enables us to do just that.
